1. The short version
Figmetric is a set of free calculators. We don't ask for your name, your debts, your income, or anything you type into a calculator — those numbers stay in your browser and are never sent to us. The only personal information Figmetric intentionally asks you to provide is your email address, and only if you choose to sign up for the free planner. We measure aggregate site usage (which pages are visited, in aggregate) with a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool — it can't identify you and sets no tracking cookies. (Like every website, our hosting provider necessarily processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site — see below.)
2. What we collect
- Email address — only if you sign up for the free Debt Payoff Planner (or any future Figmetric email list). Collected and stored by our email provider, Kit, on our behalf.
- Aggregate analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits and understand which calculators people use, in aggregate. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, uses no cross-site tracking, and does not identify individual visitors. We see totals and trends, never your identity.
- Basic technical logs — our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes standard web-request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse. We don't use this to identify you.
We do not collect: calculator inputs, account numbers, financial details, precise location, or anything from your devices beyond what a normal web visit requires.
3. What we don't do
- No advertising trackers and no cross-site tracking cookies.
- We don't sell, rent, or trade your email address or any personal information.
- We don't buy email lists or add you to ours without your signup.
Cookies: the site may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies from our hosting/security provider (Cloudflare) to keep the site working and protected. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless and sets no tracking cookies. There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
4. How your email is used
If you sign up, your email is used to deliver the free planner you requested and occasional Figmetric emails (new calculators, guides, product updates). Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and signup uses double opt-in — you confirm via email before anything is sent. We keep emails infrequent and finance-related; no spam, ever.
5. Who processes your data
- Kit — email list hosting and delivery (see Kit's privacy policy for their practices).
- Cloudflare — site hosting, content delivery, and security.
- Gumroad — checkout for the paid Debt Payoff Dashboard. If you buy it, your purchase (including your email and payment details) is processed by Gumroad under Gumroad's own privacy policy and terms — Figmetric never sees or stores your payment information.
We don't share personal information with anyone else except as required by law.
6. Your rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any email — that stops all future mailings. To request deletion of your email address from our list entirely, reply to any Figmetric email with "delete my data" and we'll remove it. If you're in a jurisdiction with additional data rights (such as the EU/UK or California), the same request works — tell us what you need and we'll honor it.
7. Children
Figmetric is a general-audience finance education site not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child provided us an email address, use the request method above and we'll delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If our data practices change (for example, if we add analytics), this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and the "last updated" date will reflect it. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
